Frosty tuna treats
The temperature spikes and we all feel it, including our pet pals. I don’t know about you, but the team at Arden Grange runs to the freezer looking for an ice cream or frozen treat and we think our pets should have the same luxury.
That’s why we’ve come up with these delicious frozen yogurt and tuna treats, suitable for both dogs and cats. This recipe is perfect to keep your fuuriends cool this summer.
Ingredients
- 250g dairy free yogurt
- 145 g tuna chunks in spring water (don’t drain)
Method
- Mix the undrained tuna and yogurt together in a bowl.
- Once combined, spoon the mixture into an ice cube tray (a fun shaped tray always goes down well).
- Place the tray into the freezer.
- Once frozen give a cube to your cat or dog to enjoy!
Remember
- Frozen treats may exacerbate acid reflux, so may be better avoided in animals prone to this condition.
- As they melt these treats can become a little messy, so either give them to your pet on a hard floor or plate.
- Treats should be fed in moderation.
